AWS ECS Fargate: container deployment and CI/CD

As project lead, cloud developer and DevOps engineer, I implemented automated deployment of a web application on AWS ECS Fargate, including image builds, permissions and release workflows.
A GitHub Actions pipeline built Docker images and stored them in Amazon ECR.
Task definitions, task roles and execution roles specified container execution and permissions. AWS Certificate Manager complemented certificate management. Rolling updates and deployment behaviour were verified.
Result: Automated container deployment with ECS Fargate, ECR, ALB and GitHub Actions, and verified update behaviour.
