How accurate is the detailed estimate?

The estimate shows a corridor between ±10 % and ±30 %. It mainly depends on how precisely the requirements are already described. With a written specification the corridor is narrowest. After the scoping call the estimate becomes a binding fixed price.

How does the detailed estimate differ from the quick calculator?

Accepted Answer

For the same selection both land close together. The detailed estimate also covers screens, data objects, roles, platforms, integrations, data migration, testing, operations and training. It also splits the project into milestones and shows a payment plan.

Question 3

Is there a discount for larger projects?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From a budget of €10,000 we grant a 5 % project discount on commissioning. The rate rises with the budget and reaches 10 % from €100,000. The discount is already included in the budget shown.

Is the estimate worth it for small tasks too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick “Small tool or automation” as project type, for example for a form with reporting, an import script or an extension. The project frame stays lean; very small projects start at around €1,500 and are delivered in one step.

Why is project management €0?

Accepted Answer

Alignment, status calls, emails and feedback loops are part of the ProjectMakers service. The estimate still shows the effort so you can compare fairly with agency quotes, where this item is typically 10 to 15 %.

Is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and we do not store your answers. Only if you allow statistics cookies do we count project type and size class anonymously. Your details reach us only when you write to us via the contact form.
