As project lead, software architect, developer and designer, I implemented the move to WooCommerce and automated product data synchronisation and marketplace integrations for MS Zweiradteile.
The client wanted to consolidate existing webshops and concentrate daily operations on its own shop. I developed the WooCommerce solution to import the parts manufacturer's product data and availability automatically and supply the connected marketplaces.
Integration covered eBay, Rakuten and Hood. Dedicated .NET 5 services on a web server replaced legacy data synchronisation and separated synchronisation tasks from the shop. Database connections and webhook-based integrations complemented the automated data exchange.
I took responsibility for the concept, design, implementation and quality assurance. Custom extensions made it easier for the client to manage the shop independently and personalise the combined commerce platform.
Result: Implemented a WooCommerce shop with automated wholesaler synchronisation and marketplace integrations, replacing legacy synchronisation with separate .NET services.
