Security testing of a cloud backend platform

As project lead, developer and security testing lead, I carried out security and penetration tests alongside horizOn development and developed custom Python tools for this work.
The checks accompany changes to the backend and integrations and assess identified vulnerabilities. Custom penetration testing tools were developed in Python, initially for the predecessor platform AppWorks.
Identified issues are addressed as part of my development responsibilities. The security checks complement horizOn's technical quality assurance.
Result: Conducted security checks, assessed vulnerabilities and integrated their remediation into ongoing development.
