Further development of project management software

As project lead, software architect, developer and trainer, I took responsibility for implementing prioritised extensions to project management software and transferring knowledge to the internal development team.
The assignment was to turn prioritised user and business requirements into extensions to the existing application. I implemented content-view filters, a RememberMe login and automatic client updates.
A tile view gained pooling and grouping. Navigation and history, detail views and the interface and features for creating projects were revised. A comment-based system made project activities traceable.
I combined hands-on implementation with continuous knowledge transfer to the internal team. Regular code reviews and pair programming supported technical decisions. Principles such as DRY and KISS were taught using the features actually being worked on, enabling the team to continue later changes on that basis.
Result: Added filtering, login, update and project management features, and supported the development team through reviews, pair programming and training.
