Virtual showroom with live communication

As project lead, software architect, web developer and designer, I developed a configurable website builder for virtual trade fairs and showrooms with content management and live communication.
The client needed a reusable platform for virtual product presentations and events. I clarified requirements, developed the concept and design, and implemented the website, administration features and integrations.
Products and individually designed stories could be replaced in the backend without technical knowledge. Presentations could combine films, slideshows, games and scrollytelling. A members' area provided product information.
A chat module enabled direct contact with available employees. They could sign in and out through the backend to display their online status. The backend, database and real-time communication were developed together. The builder could be configured for different events and end customers.
Result: Implemented a virtual showroom with content management, employee availability and chat, configurable for use by different end customers.
